Krystal Woodworth - CEO.
Currently, Krystal Woodworth is the Owner of Woodworth Advertising. Her business is geared toward working with her primary client, Silicon Valley Map and Calendar, in developing branding messages and marketing venues for this 22-year-old iconic symbol of the dynamic Silicon Valley. Prior to that, she played a principal role in starting and implementing on-line advertising campaigns for both LinkedIn and SideStep, which provided critical revenue sources for both companies, as well as contributing to the marketability of SideStep in its eventual purchase by Kayak for $200 million in 2008. Krystal is a sales and marketing professional with a proven track record of generating corporate revenue by taking companies with no brand recognition and creating a “must-have” the consumer.
Krystal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication with a minor in Sociology from the University of California, San Diego. She left “the corporate cubicle” in search of balance in her professional and home life, and realized her dream of starting her own business, which was the impetus for starting Angi USA, in hopes of helping other women reach their full professional and personal potential. She has a passion for serving women of all ages, and currently leads a group of middle school young ladies on such topics as self-esteem, social and personal issues, community outreach and faith. She has a passion for feminine theology, organization, home design and decoration, and community service. She enjoys speaking at various educational institutions throughout the Bay Area. She resides in San Jose with her husband and two teenage sons.
Jill Amen - COO and Marketing
Currently, Jill is CEO/Founder of Trestria and co-publisher of the Silicon Valley Map and Calendar. She began her career at Intel Corporation in major account marketing in 1983. Recognizing the significance of Silicon Valley as a high-tech landmark early on, she successfully launched the Silicon Valley Map and Calendar—a high tech marketing vehicle--in 1989.
Expanding the company and its branding, Jill launched Trestria, a successful marketing promotions firm that that serviced the advertising and public relations needs of several hi-tech, multinational corporations such as Daimler-Chrysler, Sony Electronics and many others. She also developed Silicon Valleyopoly, the first licensed board gave of Silicon Valley and published several History and Trivia calendars of Silicon Valley that later evolved into a series of technology chronicles for Silicon Valley, the Internet, biotech and semiconductor industries. She also established a division to assist young start up companies with their public relations and early stage marketing efforts. More recently, Jill integrated industrial imports and value-added contract manufacturing into her company’s product mix. Finally in 2010, Jill launched her socially responsible Boheme-Couture handbag line focusing on USA artisan manufacturing and repurposed materials.
A native of California, Jill earned a bachelor's degree in Business and Marketing at California State Stanislaus University. Over the years Jill has been a member of several entrepreneurial and marketing organizations including TEN, SVASE and BPMA. Jill is an active volunteer focusing on helping women develop economic self-reliance. An avid hiker, mountain biker and mother of two, Jill and her husband Fred live in San Jose, California.
Sushmita/Sue Datta - CTO
Currently Sue Datta is President/Founder of Opus Technologies USA, in California and other areas of North America. She is responsible for providing internet marketing strategies to business owners which includes designing web sites and graphics, providing search engine optimization and social media marketing techniques such as Twitter and Facebook, designing logos, marketing collateral and brochures, and assisting in the production of advertisement films for their business.
Sue has over 15 years experience in software design and development in the renowned Silicon Valley working with design and development of web applications, security software design and database design for web-based training. She immigrated to the United States in 1983, and obtained her Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech. She additionally has a Bachelor’s Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology in Kharagpur, India.
In the last 5 years Sue has managed a small-business networking group in her neighborhood to raise donations for a San Jose clinic for ‘Abused Women and Children,’ and a shelter for homeless seniors in Santa Clara. She resides in the Almaden Valley in San Jose, California, with her husband Diptish, two children, her elderly father-in-law and three dogs. She is a devoted musician, loves musicals and Broadway plays, and has directed children’s theatre in San Jose. Her other interests include reading, playing guitar, cooking, playing competitive tennis and hiking.
